Discrimination is rarely out of the news whether it be “Sex in the City”, programmes proclaiming “Grandad/Grandma is Back in Business” or the Archbishop of Canterbury telling BA to allow its ground staff to wear crosses. Indeed just last week The Times reported that a Hindu woman who worked in the VIP lounge of Terminal 1 at Heathrow was sacked for wearing a nose stud (a Hindu symbol of fidelity).
